Vishnu Swaroopa Poojai is a sacred ceremony where the groom is worshipped as a manifestation of Lord Vishnu, while the bride is revered as Goddess Lakshmi. The groom is seated on a special asana (seat) and the bride's family performs elaborate pooja to him. They wash his feet with sacred water, apply tilak on his forehead, offer flowers and garlands, and perform aarti. The groom is given new clothes and treated with the utmost reverence during this ceremony.
